Adoption Assistance Involving CPS

The Adoption Assistance Program ("AAP") is based on a written agreement between a prospective adoptive parent and CPS that specifies in writing the nature and amount of any payment, services, or assistance to be provided under the agreement.  The purpose of the AAP is to promote the adoption of children residing in foster homes by providing them with the stability and security of permanent home and a "forever" family.  The AAP can provide financial, medical, and educational assistance to the family and child.
